Dr. Shelby C. Wittorf was born and raised in Kiln, Mississippi. Dr. Wittorf attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. During school she was an active member of the Sports Council, where she would treat athletes of all kinds at different sporting events. She was also a Clinical Rehab Assistant, where she would help create different rehab programs for patients of the Palmer clinics.
From a very young age, she knew that she wanted to help people. Her first job in high school was caring for the elderly in a nursing home. In college, she worked as a personal trainer at USM and fell in love with the exercise side of health. After a back injury, she discovered the power of an adjustment and that is when she decided to pursue a career in chiropractic.
Dr. Shelby Wittorf treats patients of all ages and from all walks of life. Dr. Wittorf specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurological disorders. She is passionate about helping her patients unlock their true potential and reach optimal health. Dr. Wittorf treats the patients as a whole and not just their symptoms. She utilizes many different techniques in order to help her patients regain 100% function.
